Tammy Dixon
Tammy has been a hair stylist for over 20 years, beginning with her education as an apprentice at the Edward Amato Salon in Baltimore. She next attended the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Santa Monica, as well as the Aveda Advanced Academy in Soho and the Aveda Advanced Academy in London. Tammy specializes in natural-looking color and highlighting techniques. Her most recent studies have focused on balayage with Jamie Sea and hair painting at Whittemore House in New York City. A long time supporter of chemical-free and organic hair color and products, Tammy strives to apply this consciousness at her salon Rooted.
Holly Wiitala
Holly has been a hair stylist since 2006. Her education started at Paul Mitchell Cao institute in Los Angeles, ca. From 2007- present she has been trained and certified with OCS, Oway and O&M. She continued her education at The Paint Box and The Whittmore House salon in New York to master hair painting and balayage. Also in spring 2019 she took a razor class with Gerard Scarpaci , a precision cutting course with DJ Muldoon and updated her balayage and foiling techniques with Mish Jolie who are all recognizable names in the elite hair industry. Holly believes consultations are the most important to customize and collaborate with the client to make sure their hair best highlights and suits each person’s everyday needs. She is comfortable with all textures of hair from fine to curly and completes every service by dry cutting and refinement to make sure each clients style has a great grow out and stay power.
